After 30 years of this, I think I have a problem. I'm a perfectionist, and unless I'm going 100MPH plus with my hair on fire, I'm not satisfied.

Has anyone suffered from this and recovered?

Suffering from this as we speak, but I'm only gettin in deeper at this point.. although I don't have 30 years in yet... well hell im not even 30 yet.. . but yes typically work 10+ hrs a day 7 days a week, for about 10 months of the year the next 2 months are much lighter slow season only 8 hrs a day 5 days a week...

But ya I have not recovered or tired to yet.. give me a few years..

I'll be one of those blue hairs (er, a "no hair" in my case) that I'm always bitching about. :elefant:

Closest I ever was .......70 hours a week about 8 years ago.....left that behind gladly and never looked back. BTW, how's your health? That kinda pace usually does most of us in pretty quick.

Well, true or not ?????????????? :dontknow: :D :D

Used to be this way believe it or not..I worked 60-70 hrs a week, hardly ever took vacation, went home and worked on the house, never relaxed, even when I was out drinking, I was on a mission..
The brain tumor took care of that..I dont care so much about work, and realize a job is just a means to an end. I do my best, but Im not killing myself for a buck...I still drink with wild abandon occasionally, but most times I take it easy.. and if the grass doesnt get mowed the second it gets over 2 in long,, or the driveway doesnt get every spec of snow off it the second it stops snowing, I dont really give a crap....Its all about priorities I guess..
