What Did You Do to your Vehicle Today?

Well guys I have not kept up in here for a bit as just too many other things in my life keep getting in the way :dontknow:
Was even thinking of trading the beast in on a Challenger , NO not a new one, a real one !
Well I did end up selling the truck ,but far from the way I wanted too . Got a good price but hated to sell the damn thing to the new owner as it happened to be my Insurance company ! I really still cant say how it happened other than the third gear problem . I have missed third running it hard but never just at medium and it has never never done what it did ,hit first ! Even that would not have been a problem ,well except it was in a high banked curve and the back end bit & swung around before I could do much . Sad thing is if I had of been on it I would have been in forth by the time I hit that curve and I would have done the 2-3 on a straight and it would not have happened .
The bad thing is with what the bank gets out of the check I really can not replace it at this time and with the shop closed I really dont want to mess with another payment . So looks like I will be trading down so looking for a Magnum R/T or 300C to just dump the insurance check on . I did ask about buy-back as I thought it would be a nice power plant for a Challenger but they set the buy back too high .

Damn Mike...I think of all people you could have buffed that out!

Oh No!!! Hope no one was hurt. The poor truck is a mess, but the wing came out unhurt...

I really tried that but it kept snagging the buff pads right off the buffered . I think some of the edges need to be wet sanded down .
Not to say I was not hurt but I guess I'm just a tough ol bird who has walked away from far too many totals . Even the cops thought I was a bit hmmmmmmmm strange as he wondered how I walked away much less wandering picking up pieces of black and blue and tossing them in the bed .
Yup the wing survived as one of three things that were not damaged . The wing ,the drivers door and the roof are the only things not damaged . The only thing holding the wheels on is the calipers as it broke both front spindles .

Finally got to drive my truck today for the first time in two weeks. Between the Hospital stay and the new McLeod dual disc clutch it has been a while, damn it was fun!!:burnout: :burnout:

Drove mine farther than I've ever driven it at one time. 264 miles. Met Jeremy, the new owner Troy's best friend, handed him the keys in exchange for a check. Jeremy signed papers today on an 05 RC silver with a ROE SC in Daytona. He'll be a member soon. Ate lunch and drove home viper truckless. But a good day.



Saw this car today in a Tallahassee museum. Turned the corner in the building and there was another one just like it!!! Car is BADASS! Looks like they have only built 2 so far and I saw both of them today!

I picked my truck up from Tator's Garage and had a nice 100 mile trip home to test out the new mods...What a difference Tony's coil packs, wires and plugs make, and a Roe throttle body too

Also had the brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant flushed, Stink's power steering lines installed, 4 new BFG KDW tires put on, Intake swapped for a JMB white powdercoated one, 170 t-stat installed, and JMB t-stat housing.

Dang Travis! Hope you stay on here even though that sweet QC is gone...and that Trans-am looks bad-ass!

My wife says I'll have a RC in 6 months or less. She feels bad because I sold it. I told her it was my decision to sell it and take care of my family. She just knows how much I loved it.

I drove it to the dealer and made them check everything and top off all the fluids for free I also got some touch up paint while I was there.

Then I went to shucks and got some rust remover. I got most of it off the frame so far, its still eating away at the exhaust:rock:

today I uncovered my ride from the winter and drove the sh*t outta it, dam it felt good to get her out on the road again. Although no srt shes still pretty fast according to the guy in a gt mustang i blew away. Oh happy day. Need mods now dammit shes too quiet for my liking.

HEY STINKER NOW THAT I'M BACK AGAIN, WHERE ARE YOUR CHARGER MODS FOR SALE DAMMIT!

Pulled the truck out of the hibernation den today:burnout: Low 40's here in PA so traction was a bit of an issue....Days like today make me realize why I keep this baby in the garage 7 months a year, 20,935 on her when she went back to the den.

Washed, Clay Bar, and Polished. It is starting to look like it should.
