Thanks for the replies. If it's only worth a couple of HP I'll just do a K&N drop-in in the near future.

A couple of more questions, I just did a Magnaflow exhaust (sounds great!). About how much HP is that worth? Their website says ~15 HP and 22 pound feet, is that legit?

Lastly, any sound clips of a Magnaflow equipped SRT-10 without the 2nd cats? And how much HP is that usually worth?

    Thanks!

I am close to ordering the JMB Catless Midpipes and am wondering if I need a tune with them, even though they won't throw a Engine Code w/ the simulators. Also is the install fairly easy?

    Thanks,

Dan at DC Performance said if you are going catless, a re-tune IS required.

you will find that the claims of HP is way overrated,,,most mods on these trucks bring less overall HP than is claimed ,,,for the most part you could get with exhaust, cai, and a tune is good for 25 to 30 tops ,,,

my truck bone ass stock was 422 ,,,,after bassanni shorties high flow cats ,and cat back ,cai,,with a tune from B&G i dynoed at 449,,,way back many dollars ago

    :D

    Code P0159

Could some one please tell me why I keep getting this code?

    P0159 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

Usually right after a top end run followed by a little rattin.

I can drive all day long and nothing. But, after that combo, I pull in to driveway & there it is.:hmmmm:

    intake manifold torque setting????

I did a search, couldn't find it anywhere on here. If anyone knows the intake manifold bolt torque specs or knows a link I would appreciate it!

    Perfect! Thank you!

I'm glad tony said you could use it, because the reason I have the intake off is to put on his coilpacks+wires :D

Thank you. I just got the intake off so I should be good to go as soon as I get the wires on. The only thing I'm not sure about is how to get a torque wrench on a few of those inner bolts. That's gonna suck lol

Does anyone know how much differernt my truck will soundif I add an H pipe or X pipe? I really love the sound of it now, and don't want to mess up the great sound. I've heard the adding a crosspipe will increase horsepower, but also lower crackling?

What's yall opinion on adding an X or H pipe to My Catless Mids and Magnaflow Catback

Okay I am thinking about purchasing the JMB CAI, I know it won't give any more power, but I like the look of it. I only have two questions, one, with the JMB CAI, JMB Catless Mids, and the Magnaflow Catback, do I need a tune? Two, what is the color that matches the stock valve covers, gloss red with no clearcoat right? It runs perfect now, but I am wondering if the intake will throw the truck off.
    Thanks
