Best Wakeboard boat??

If you really want to go with a ski-boat type boat definitely stay with the V-drive. Honestly though unless you get one that has built in ballast tanks you'd be better off with some of the normal I/O's and put a tower on it. We've had two Mastercrafts and they were both great. I've ridden behind almost everything else at one point or another. I really like Malibu's a lot as well.

Honestly though the "wakeboard" boats are pricey compared to most others out there. If you're really good they're worth it. Example, I used to be able to throw flips and fly out into the flats, can't anymore. So for me I'd rather have a nice bowrider and put a tower on it. I now have a Cobalt and you couldn't get me back into a ski boat of any make. Big wake w/o screwing with ballast tanks, bigger and more comfortable, smoother ride, better on gas.

Thats me joe i just want something i can fish off of and drink beer. we had a glasstream with a 4 cyl in it in the late 80's that was as good a wake boat for the money as you could find. it was a bowrider.

If you want to spend the coin, you can't go wrong with a Mastercraft. We bought our first boat and went with a Moomba LSV. Got a great price. Figured if the family sticks with it we can always upgrade, but if they lose interest I'm not stuck with a high priced boat. Also our boating season is much shorter so I couldn't justify that kinda coin for a first boat. We have no complaints and are completely happy with the Moomba.

Yes, it will definatly be an end of season deal for us. I'm a bargin shopper:D We had our tough times there for a month or two once I left the business and was un-employed a few years back:( It was for the better though. My current job really sucked at first getting used to the hours and the guys. Almost two years later and I still don't like the hours sometimes but the work is interesting and the guys I work with are a blast!! Oh and I get every Sunday and 1 week a month off so it's cool.:)
