Thanks Eddie. I went looking on the net, found one, auto '10 left over. I was thinking of having a look at it. It's white diamond with black int. Same dealer I got my DTS . Not far from the house. I just think I'm too upside down in my DTS right now. But, it doesn't hurt to look. (My hair is only getting more blue each day):p

yeah theres a white one in montgomery too just didnt really want a white one.

I have to agree with you on this car Roy. It's one BAD machine! The wife and I went and test drove a used one today. Its almost as fast as the CE and it was bone stock:burnout: It's a very nice car it rides and handles like a sports car but it's still nice and smooth like you would expect a cadillac to be.

Thinking about sticking with a 4 door car since we will have kids in the next few years. I just don't think the mustang or challenger would be fun putting car seats in/out of:(

I couldn't remember the trick:dontknow: I pushed the traction control once and moved the shifter to the right. It would spin a good bit but once I went WOT with it my face almost hit the steering wheel cause it would shut off:(

You need to get used to the rev limiter...once you move the shifter to the right do not touch it or you are in manual and have to shift it before you hit the rev limiter in each gear. Just move it to the right and no movement up and down...once you move it forward or back you then have to shift in each rear or use the paddle shifters...

Turning off the traction control is the big hp gain...you have to hold the traction button on the steering wheel for seven seconds...and the dash read out tells you that the traction computer has been shut down...and to be very careful!!!!

Have you had any issues with yours Roy? The 100k warranty is what I like. It's for my wife as a daily driver. I couldn't get the smile off her face after she drove it. She wanted a new mustang 5.0 until tonight:D

What kind of life are you getting from the tires? I bet 20'' tires would be much cheaper than 19's:dontknow:

What I dont like is the fact that these cars come with a manual tranny. It certainly doesnt fit the luxury car image and is the reason why I would not buy one.

They have auto's that's what we test drove;)

taking the new car experience out of it...

i'm not sure what i'd rather have...

i prefer the ls6 cars' body style a little more....which can be had for 22k...and you can spend 10k at lingenfelter and have it supercharged...and be faster than the ls9 car...

and still have money in the bank...

i just don't know what i would do if were an option...

That is true Dan. I myself want the warranty since it will be a DD for the wife. I'm sure I could pull off a cat back and a tune without voiding the warranty:dontknow:

r there deals out there on the new V's?

though i need to get my wife a new truck, suburban or xl yukon

The piks of that red V-coupe make the tail end look higher than a cat in heat.

But, I'm definately a fan... I'm a coupe (or even 2 seater) man, myself.

D

I really think a CTS-V Wagon would be a good seller as well..... And they look great as wagons.
