MMI isn't far from where I live, know the owner of a company that hires from MMI. Its doing pools though, pays more than people think.

Oh yeah, it's a full riding. Well, it sucks in the summer to tell the truth, but it's nice in the winter. ;)

Info please! like I will be sure to PM you guys my questions tomorrow I'm searching for apartments and other misc stuff

Stick to apartments in north Phoenix, houses are almost as cheap if you look around.

I just leased two of my homes in NPhx (101-16th st) which is just down the road from MMI. I know the area well so I can help if you need it. Rents are changing quickly at this point. Previously you could find a home for what most of the upper end appt/condo's were renting for but I'm now seeing rents are increasing for single family. I got an additional $200 rent for my two properties. I'm nearly back to 2007 levels now. Apts are still hurting and one thing many are offering is low cost to get in and/or lower monthly costs with 1yr leases.

While utilities are pretty much dirt cheap here in this area homes will always take significantly more funds month to month. Welcome!

sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you guys. Chuck what area would you say would be a nice mid level price range to shoot for? im looking for something that is close to MMI since i've only got my harley now so i'm trying to save as much gas as possible. and phxpoolguy is your friend hiring? i'm looking at being in the area by mid jan

Price wise stay south of 101 but don't go farther west than 59th ave. You get into the pricey Arrowhead area. Tons of Apts along around Bell rd from hwy 51 heading west...most from about 7th st west. For homes probably best bang for the buck is Moon Valley area. around 7th st/7th ave north of Mtn Preserve (south of bell rd). Go south of Peoria/Cactus in that area the neighborhood turns ugly for a few blocks. There are some deals for homes in the immediate area NW of 101/17 junction. Tons of foreclosures in that small area.

Single family homes will be in the $800-900 range. Upscale apts slightly less. My two homes located north of 101 at 16th st rent for $1200-1300. I have another home at Union Hills and 35th ave I get $800 month.

I believe they're hiring, you would need a small truck though. You can buy a cheap one or you could go to a dealer I know not to far and get something financed. He's a buy here pay here dealer, would only check references, and I could put in a good word for you.

Chuck B is correct on the apartment on Bell Rd. We live off the 51 and T-bird, also a good area with nice deals on apartments, right by paradise valley mall. They got a new motel of I-17 that you can rent monthly till you find a place you like.

hmmm any of you guys know much about the.. Northern greens apartments on 8150N 61st ave , Glendale? we found a smoken deal on a 1 bed room apartmen. were picking up a lease thats going to be broken for $385 a month just want to make sure it's a good area. i'm mostly worried about my bike disapearing
