If I meant or said that, you would have gotten a PM from Jack and I asking if you want to to be a mod "under these conditions..., etc..; but you did not.

Under the circumstances, having mod access on both forums isn't the way Jack and I wanted to do it. So out of respect, we kept it to ourselves and did not ask / offer you the spot.

Is this causing some kind of "trust" issue???? Why would Jeff abuse the mod ability on any site he has mod rights??? I'm a moderator on three different forums (one I own) and no one has ever had an issue with it, I do what I'm supposed to do, just as Jeff would.
 
Wouldn't having a international truck of the month just makes things more complicated?
I mean if you have a star by ur name and you have a truck you should be good to go I would think.

Understand completely Patrick.

Let me make an offer.

If it was something that was really an option at one time and would still be a possibility today. Please consider that I can make choices too.


I know that in the near future I have some discussions with Shaggy on another matter and I have to consider all of what may be going on.

So here is the offer, if it is something that Jack, Yourself and Shaggy are comfortable with, I would resign my other position.


Note to Shaggy: As for your question on the TOTM, looks like it might hinge on what You, Patrick and Jack decide. I'm good with any decision, no rush, no pressure, oh and remember, the right decision is the one your are completely comfortable with.

Yea, I will talk it over with Patrick and Jack about the TOTM. What I need to know is what where all the restrictions that caused some much problem? TOTM shouldn't really have any restrictions to it. Was there different class restrictions, mod restrictions, and so on?
 
I got a last modest suggestion

quit making comments that lead folks to think Patrick didnt do what he could

for a guy that basically built the forum by himself , ran the forum by himself, running a completley new business by himself, a new child in his house, plus taking care of his wife family and day to day things, Patrick did a dam good job, maybe he didnt take the time to put up a picture or two, but really with all he had to do , how could he, besides who gave a flip about totm anyway???
Heck the guy that won toty isnt even here anymore, does he even know?
the vendors gave up, half a dozen folks voted, even when patrick gave away things on the month deal, nobody really said thanks, nobody collected on any of the totm prizes.
but if anyone wants or needs some type of explination, ask, its not there job to explain why
Patrick, and bob did a stupendous job over the last couple years, I dont think there is many forums that ran near as good as this one, every, no where else do you have the freedom here that you do on any other forum,
no ads, no monthly fees, hell nothing but hang out and talk about trucks , as long as it didnt get personal, you were ok, they never asked for a dime, everthing came outta there pockets, alot more than anyone can imagine
most of you jsut do not know how much Patrick , bob, and Jack actually care about the people of this forum, you just have no idea, kept certain vendors away because of shady ethics, kept scammers out, alot went on behind the scenes that not many knew about or ever will.

My only hope is that shaggy is able to keep the bantering down that goes on towards vendors, or vendor I should say

It's a really long story....

Cliff Notes. (I) wanted to give more people a chance at TOTM, which really made it hard for people to become a repeat Winner. In Memory winners were a bit confusing, (I) made that a bigger problem too

With all the things that happened, I still think the Members are the best judge and to just let them decide. If they want to nominate and vote in as Winner the same truck every month, (I) should understand and let them vote the way they want. I think however, Winners will still be greatly varied and should be exciting

have up to 12 nominee's, use the multi vote and let the members vote away

Tony, for what I have read the last few days, they did an awesome job with the forum, hence why I am here! From me talking to Jack and Patrick few times over the phone(Patrick must think I am a nut case with me rambling on in our phone conversations all the time :D ), they are both probably the nicest guys I have never met. That will change soon so as they both only live 6 hrs away from me. I do want to check out Patricks viper and jacks 2 srt10s :rock:
 
Guys, Shaggy and I have exchanged a number of messages. Right now is just not a good time. If and when it's OK, then it will be OK, We all have friends that are on a number of sites and the other forum is one of them. GTG's are planned on both, Sales are planned on both, friends are on both and I should say that these same friends are on the C and on the Dodge Forum. We just seem to be everywhere.

Even FSTJacks surprise visit was planned on both

So lets be patient, we don't really need to rush anything
