Great Video. Not For The Faint of Heart‏

Did not mind watching someone else do it. I would not be able to go up a hundred feet! Wow he was really high. Can you just imagine how much that thing sways back and forth?

I can imagine that he was some STRONG legs to climb that tower like that.

Wow that was putting me at edge just watching them.

I wonder how hard it is to get down from there as well.
 
That's cool, i would do it. I'm a lineman and climb all the time 55' and 60' poles with my hooks.
 
Scares the crap outta me. That tower is probably constantly swaying at least 5 feet each way. I can't even imagine.
 
That's what would make it so cool. To see 55 miles out. that's a.ok in my book.

LOL I use to work in the field spurring up the 50 60 footers but that is nothing in comparison to this... With spurs you know your safe as long as you take care of your stuff.. This your 1K+ feet in the air with nothing holding ya to the tower, no poll strap nothing... id say its not even similar of a climb in any way shape or forum..
 
I should have posted this as a poll, everyone I have shown this to has had different reactions.

But to narrow it down to 3 choices,

1)Who would try it.

2)Hell no

or

3)I couldn't watch the whole thing all at once without feeling a little sick or dizzy

I can take a lot but I think I'd have to say #3

But it's not a poll, HA
 
My hands were sweating watching that. It was great really....

Whatever they pay those guys, its not nearly enough.
 
If you were strapped in at all times no problem,, but that free climbing not a chance in hell.... one miss step, or gust of wind and im sure there is some serious wind up that high and your a gonner.... Well I guess if you had a base jumping shoot on then sure Id do it.. but with out that never..

I know but, i would still try it. Just to know i climb 1,700'. They also make more then my 36 a hr. i would think.:D And you don't have to work on 26,000 votes hot. ( in your truck, not off your hooks)
