    QC rear suspension upgrades?

Bump...have given up on bell tech and likely to get “new” stock leaf springs and retain McG shackles. Flip would be nice but perhaps too low for work at the ranch. Maybe then will look into finding adjustable rear shocks if such a thing exists (no ranchos)

    Strut tower Brace

Is there any other form or additional chassis bracing available for these trucks? Toyota gave their Tacoma an “x-brace” to improve handling and called it the xrunner.

Are brake & clutch pedal pads NLA?

Can’t seem to find the oem 6spd clutch and brake pedal covers anywhere. Have they been discontinued? Anyone know of a source? Mine are well worn on all four corners and getting kind slippery when wet/muddy.

    QC rear suspension upgrades?

Would really like to hear more feedback on the Belltech drop leaves if anyone has experience. I feel like it would be easier to keep the springs above the axle to retain a 2-3” drop, and can supplement with airbags or timbrens for heavier loads. Also considering the Hellwig 2002 “traction...

    QC rear suspension upgrades?

That’s a nice looking setup! My hellwig rear bar works well but the install isn’t quite as clean. Swaybar mounts are on the axle tube itself (instead of shock mounts) and end links are mounted to brackets that mount above the frame. End links themselves are just long threaded bolts running...

Anyone with aftermarket seats and/or steering wheel?

Custom appears to be the only way. Will have our ranch mechanic/welder come up with something to attach my Recaro to a factory manual seat rail. Thanks all

Anyone with aftermarket seats and/or steering wheel?

also very cool...I was originally looking for ways to add a universal (Momo, etc) steering wheel and have give up CC/airbag but guess it isn’t necessary

Wow! Don’t suppose there are other pics on how he mounted the fronts? Very cool...

    QC rear suspension upgrades?

Appreciate the input. Already have a Hellwig rear swaybar and the rear Fox shocks aren’t too old, but my original leafs have lived a tough life...over 350k of heavy loads and hard cornering. So this is where I likely need to start. Have had McG’s drop shackles on my truck for the last 150k...

Not an SRT but gonna need help...

Would love to, but my current weekend cars (cts vagon & 635csi) are barely getting any use. Here’s the old beast I spend much of my time in...

Thanks...truck has had the crap beat out of it since day one and has been great!

Not an SRT but gonna need help...

Caltracs has spring-over and spring-under setups for my truck. I’ve definitely tried to justify an SRT multiple times. Problem is I drive 3-4K miles per month for work and fill up at our shop, which only has 87 octane and diesel. If I were to get a vehicle requiring premium, I’d have to pay...

    QC rear suspension upgrades?

Have heard great things about the hotchkis setup, but they seem to be quite rare. Caltracs does make bars for the 9.25 in both over axle and under axle leaf setups. Leaning towards trying the Belltech leaves/stock shackles first, then Caltracs if (likely) needed.

Anyone with aftermarket seats and/or steering wheel?

Thanks so anyone change up the seats?

Not an SRT but gonna need help...

My 6spd is a Getrag 238...don’t believe it was used in any application other than 3.7 & 4.7L rams (and Jeep Hemi/6spd conversions). The rear axle is certainly different as mine is a 9.25 with DTT, but leaf springs are identical between SRT QC and non-SRT trucks. Perhaps there are other...

    QC rear suspension upgrades?

Good read with great pics, thank you. So if I’m not mistaken, you are running stock springs with a flip kit (4” drop in rear), hotchkis rear swaybar, and caltracs. Also some shorter shocks to go with the drop (forget which ones). How hard would you say you tend to corner with this truck? Any...
