Last vehicle I had that did this was because all the forward clutches welded themselves together. I hope that's not your problem. I had park and everything else was forward.
I'm on my second set of nitto 420s in the same size. The sidewall isn't as stiff for hard hard cornering but it grips well and launches at the track nicely as well. I got over 50k out of my last set.

Mine does it all the time. I lightly rev a few times to dry the belt. If you notice when this happens the voltage gauge likely goes to 0 as well. Mine does it every time it rains or when I wash it. Has for the last 12 years.
As long as you've been here, and as many issues as your truck has had that have been resolved, you have the potential to be helpful but 99% of the time you choose not to. You could be the wealth of information to the next group of owners you know.
