@HemiLonestar please hit me back I’m trying to buy your parts hoard out. Got my hardware for my bed cover yesterday need the hood asap or before my wife recounts our mattress money lol
He did tell me he flew plains or worked on them and raced. No big deal I was just putting it out there to see if he was some well known here. No need to look into it. Love to see what he did with the truck… possibly buy it back
Nope can’t even remember my old name either. The guy flew out to me next day with 27,500 in cash on him lol I remember being shocked he flew with that on him I’m pretty sure if you get caught with cash on you they take it because they think it’s for drugs or laundering
He is the person I sold my first truck to in 2011, he seamed to know what he was buying and saw it off this forum so I thought maybe he was on here possibly. Love to see how the truck is holding up
Where I live most car people never herd of these trucks or if they have didn’t know there was a viper motor in them. Pretty crazy
Idk how you keep the miles off of your truck, you must have others to distract you
My brother lost the exact truck similarly then I bought it from the person he sold it to by luck, long story short I hadn’t even met my brother at that point in my life but saw his name on a old registration in the dash(crazy!!)
we’re both doing better in life now that all mistakes are out of...
I was on here for about 6 months back in 2011 right before I sold my fist srt10 it sold off this platform. I just don’t remember my username at all. 12,000 miles pro charged 650hp and a blast to drive.
Truck has 18,000 miles, no slipping of the clutch the hard to convert 2nd to 3rd was still there the problems I was feeling were all in the shifter.
the other two low mile rc 10’s I’ve had were stock hurst shifters but were no issue and smooth other than the normal 2nd-3rd toughness. I really...
The gasket is literally flacking apart if I touch it areas, I was thinking I could check the torque on the head but I really don’t think that help.
I’m going to keep the hood that’s on the truck I just want a stock option or the other way around.
So the truck has an after market shifter in it and when I shift the truck it feels very corse if I had to guess the previous owner replaced the stock shifter thinking it would fix this issue. From what I’ve seen online it has to be rebuild to fix what I’m feeling. I haven’t checked fluid yet.
