there are tons of pictures but you'll see the srt10 as the rescue team:rock:
Well after much frustration I need to sell my truck. I bought the truck with 26,000mi and it now had 37,000 mi. Here is what the truck came with when i first got it:
-xmetal shifter
-paxton supercharger
-belanger headers
-4.10 gear *Stock*
-pioneer avic-z2 double din (has xm radio...
I was watching practice last night and heard that redbull claims that with 18 men they can do a 4 tire pitstop in only 1.8 seconds. thats crazy fast especially since they dont have to refuel.
well i finally got done doing my engine bay like carl but when i started the motor i had a nice engine knock. These are the things i changed:
-switch from champion-10 spark plugs to ngk iridium 11 plugs (i was told that with these plugs to leave the gap at .040)
-put in a crankcase vent into...
so underneath the intake there are two nipples towards the front. one large one and one small one. where does the small one go to? i dont have any picture of any lines going to it when i took it off so now i'm lost.
How hot do you suppose the valve covers get? i'm trying to paint the viper on the covers red to match the truck so i'm wondering if duplicolor color matched paint will work (not engine paint)
So i've been inspired by carl to redo the engine bay and make it look as good as the truck performs. I would like to know:
1) whats the purpose of the sensor right underneath the battery
2) what do the two lines that come from the back of the motor, run along side of it and then to a valve...
I remember when i had my f250 diesel that a lot of people would vent their ccv into their exhaust to almost create a vacuum for the ccv. is this such a good idea with these trucks? I already have the ccv vented into a canister with a breather.
i'm wanting to relocate my battery and i know there are kits out there but i'm trying to price it out if i build my own. So what is the smallest acceptable size? i know i can go bigger but just wondering what's the smallest.
these are photos i took today. trying to do different things to get familiar so when my family and i take photos of our vehicles together they'll come out somewhat decent.
while i drive at night, my headlights will usually go off then come back on without any notice. any reason why? they are just stock headlights with silverstar bulbs.
i forget who the member is with the black and yellow rims on a red rc cab. just wanted to ask cuz i forgot when i spoke to them, if the yellow went all the way to the lip or not. thanks
