Well SRTBrad came through with a perfect block and crank. I've been busy with my big ass 460 Ford engine (600cid) for my Torino lately but my SRP head studs came in today for my 10. Now I can attach my torque plate and size the cylinders so I can get the pistons coming. This block is so nice it...
Saia delivered yesterday and man that is one fine block and crank. No wear, no damage, and no smoke and mirrors. Thanks Brad you tell it like it is. :D
We are in deep dookie ... because the repubs put us there before Obama was elected and the last thing we need is a wealthy elitist for prez. I'm sure some of you will not like what I said but it's the truth.
Yea it does slow piston speed down, and gives the heads a better shot at a higher volumetric efficiency while reducing stress on the rods, pistons, and cylinder walls. I've never weighed a stock rod.
Good things come to those with patience.
Thank you very much Brad for your full disclosure and professionalism regarding the purchase of your block and crankshaft. After running across a couple of turds I finally have found what I was asking for.:D:D:D
Viper Jeff and I voted along time ago to cease fire and close this thread but there are some hungry buzzards that don't want to do that. They would rather keep on talking ****. Like I said before I'm not going to listen to that **** without a reply.
Well at the flying j I thought we were both sulled up. Very few words were spoken. And now what are you trying to say? I'm not afraid of you and I damn sure won't run from you. You get in my face and you'll understand that.
Yea well I wasn't speeding and we didn't pitch/pass the block and crank across the interstate median at 75 mph either when we met. I also stop when I need to piss.:D
