I posted a thread a week or 2 ago about a bad noise i had trying to start the engine. Well just got word from dealership that i towed it to that a rod went through the block. Now trying to find options. Do i sell it as is, or do i get a replacement engine? And where would i get 1?

After 2 mechanics that i trust fully instantly say today its the starter after taking a look at it. I have to special order a starter on monday. Unless anyone has 1 more readily avaiilable?

I will be able to test the battery this afternoon. Its not a click though. Its a very deep, very loud thump. Coming from deep in the motor. I will know more thid afternoon.

Tried again this morning. Just 1 very loud clunk when i try and start it. Ran my SCT and no engine codes came up
