Yes, I would appreciate that. A bit to think about here, being where I am, compared to other areas. Thanks in advance

    Engine builders in Ontario, Canada

Yes, thanks for the advice. I've seen many of your posts recently. I was planning on beefing up the trans, I just didn't add that info in. I figured that bumping up to what I wanted would require upgrades down the power train. Where are you in Alberta? I lived in Brooks for 8 years. If I have...

    Engine builders in Ontario, Canada

Hello everyone. I have been a member here since 2013, and have mostly just read all the great posts and info. Thanks for all the regular posters who have contributed. I have an 05 QC that I bought in December 2012, and it was my daily driver for 7 years. I moved back to central Ontario, Canada 2...

    Engine Code 0320 repost

Yes, but in an old post on this error code, the solution offered did not detail replacing the sensor, but rather dealing with the PCM. So I wanted better scoop than that. I'm no mechanic, but if someone points me in a better direction, I'll take the face palm anyday :-)

    Engine Code 0320 repost

Thanks guys Yeah, I read the info on the error message, and knew it was the crankshaft speed sensor. Just wasn't sure how involved the fix would be. I will hunt down that part and get this taken care of. Much appreciated to you for helping clear it up for me. Thanks again

    Engine Code 0320 repost

Posted this in performance mods, and will duplicate it here. Sorry about that.I know this has been covered here before in a thread from 2006. Just checking to see if there is any new information. A while back, this code (0320) appeared after my truck stalled. Took a few minutes to get it to fire...

    Engine Code 0320

I know this has been covered here before in a thread from 2006. Just checking to see if there is any new information. A while back, this code (0320) appeared after my truck stalled. Took a few minutes to get it to fire up and drive again. Figured I would get it looked at shortly, but time passed...

Need help my sct tuner does wana conect to my computer

I got lucky last December. I bought an X3 SCT - P/N 3200 - and was having the same problem. I couldn't connect to the computer and load a tune. I contacted SCT support at 9:00 AM their time, and within a half hour, I had the drivers sent via remote connect, and the tuner up and running. I am...

    SCT Tuner - Won't connect? 1013 Error.

I just received a model 3200 a little over a week ago, and the SCT Device Updater software won't even read or see the tuner and I get an error when trying to load a tune from Torrie onto it. SCT tells me I may have to talk to them over the phone. Glad I came on tonight to read about the...

new SCT problem that you may all need to know

I am having a problem with the SCT X3 that just arrived a little over a week ago. The SCT Device Updater software will not "see" the tuner. When I try to load the custom tune, I get the message "Wrong file type for device". I have the "current" software downloaded from the SCT site, and SCT...

    Power steering

Thanks. Hadn't thought about that and read it somewhere else also. Was planning on doing a bunch of work at the same time on the front end, as long as I'm there - oil lines, power steering lines, under drive pulley, and low temp thermostat. So oil change, will do.

    Power steering

Thanks so much. Snap On truck comes by on Thursday and I will grab one. You'll get a call from me later this week regarding under drive pulley.

    Power steering

Well this thread showed up just in time. Sorry to sound like a know-nothing noob, but I have been lurking for quite a while here, just gathering all the great information that everyone posts regarding their mods and upgrades. This is "truck appreciation" month for me, and some of the mods I've...

    Front sway bar

Hey everybody, thanks for your input. I ordered the Moog replacement kit. I will definitely keep the sway bar on, and will eventually add a rear sway bar as well as "leveling" the truck. As much as I like to punch it and get up to freeway speed in a hurry, I want the handling to be top notch...

sgtjc03 Yeah, loving the 500 HP right now. I want a little boost, but not go higher than around 540-550 or so. Just thinking about stress on the engine, but I hope with regular service and decent driving, I will have this truck for a lot of years.

    Front sway bar

Thanks for the tip, Trussman. I am online at Advance Auto now, and they are in stock, but would take a few days to deliver. They sell Moog and Driveworks brands, at pretty decent prices. I'll check into having something delivered.

You figure I should just do that right now, regardless, rather than wait to install the headers and hi flow cats? I'm really learning a lot by reading these forums. I don't want a super bad ass high-horsepower machine - but then again I don't really want 30-round capacity magazines either :-)...

sgtjc03 Thanks for the welcome. I put a Volant CAI on it - kinda wish I had read up a little more on CAI's, but I may modify it to re-route the air from the hood scoop, and instead bring it in through the grill. Thoughts? I also installed Magnaflow cat back exhaust. Loving the sound under WOT...
