there are 3 plugs on your ecm, c3 is the top one and when you pull it apart you will see there is a blank spot marked 31 that you need to drill out and put a wire

chris had me get my tach signal from the factory JTEC tach output on C3 pin 31.. i had to go to the wreckers and rob a pin then drill a small hole in the plug to add a connector to pin 31

ya your right. looks like it happened again there.. i punched it and the fuel pressure dropped and the air fuel gauge went all the way lean

i bought it as a rebuild so i dont know the history of it.. could be aftermarket or could be damaged in the accident or it could just be the gauge sender

im not exacty sure but its about the same as it takes to go from half to quarter.. maybe a little faster?

im saying no because i have let the guage go from 1/4 to empty without running out

no ive for sure drove it down to "E".. it just gets worse to the point i cant accelerate hard at all

whenever my fuel tank is getting closer to 1/4 tank or lower and i try and take off hard off the line it bogs down and hesitates before it takes off... asked about this on the general questions sticky thread and i was told to install a fuel pressure gauge to be sure it was fuel related.. i did...

I have a autometer gauge, is there a easy place to plum it in or am i going to need to splice onto the fuel line somewhere?

whenever my fuel level is lower than just over a quarter tank and i accelerate hard my engine will cut out or surge for about a second (starving) and then kick back in.. is this normal and i should just keep the tank more full or do i have a fuel pump or drawstraw issue? search came up with lots...

ok so i got a little update for the next guy who finds this thread using the search.. i talked on the phone with belanger header and venomus 1 was RIGHT there is a slight difference between the quad and single cab trucks, you can tell what ones you have by a "S" stamped on the mounting plate...

I notched the crap out of it and its not vibrating when i run it on the hoist with open headers so i I'll just have to pray its ok on the street...
