I think I hurt my engine!

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iApLaPTvuZY Took it for a ride around the block and gave it a little rip, maybe 4K and then started clacking. Definitely sounds like top end, maybe a bent push rod or broken rockers.

    48RE Question/Issue

I've been driving my truck for about a year now, and it has been working great. But I've noticed that when I slow down (10-15Mph) it doesn't downshift properly, It can't seem to find 2nd gear, it slips. It upshifts awesome, very firm and crisp shifts, it only happens when slowing down. The trans...

Oil Pan Swap, Car Vs Truck

Does anyone know if a Viper Gen 3 oil pan will work on the truck engine? Not sure if there would be any transmission clearance issues. My truck is pretty low, so the car pan would give me some extra ground clearance.

    Power Steering Pump Question

The PS pump on the 10 has 2 ports on the reservoir, I just assumed the large on on the bottom (Red) was the return, and the smaller one (yellow) was an overflow (in case you fill it to much). When I went to fill it today, I had fluid coming out of both, are they both returns? Any help would be...

    Name That Part....

Anybody know what this plug is for? I'm guessing it's for oil Temperature. I know the one just to the right is oil pressure, and that's where the oil cooler lines go.

This is why you should run a Catch Can.

I was cleaning my intake in preparation for painting and this is what I found. The inside of the intake was pretty dirty with baked on oil, and this is what the injectors looked like (before and after cleaning). Keep in mind my motor only has 30k miles on it.

Rod Bolts, Does the V10 come wit ARP's?

Just wondering if these motors come from the factory with ARP's? Mine has ARP 2000s in it. I know someone has been inside this engine before me, because it had Cometic head gaskets on it.

HELP! Engine won't rotate 360 degrees

Just getting ready to install my engine & trans for good, and while installing the converter bolts, I noticed the engine rotates ( by hand ) about 340 degrees then stops. I hits something hard. Stock Oil Cooler Vs Aftermarket

I'm doing the plumbing on my hot rod and was wondering if the stock oil cooler is the best way to go. Yes, it cools the oil, but it also heats the oil to whatever the engine temp is. Would an aftermarket finned cooler be better, it should dissipate the heat all the time through the fins...
