I am happy to say the seal issue has been resolved. Turns out my mechanic was, for lack of a better word, an idiot, and made the situation far more complicated than it was. Interestingly, the seal that was originally in the truck was not an original part. I have no idea where the original owner...

Not sure if I'm missing something, but I've been trying to find part #05174632AA, Vibration Damper, as recommended, but it doesn't seem to exist. Mopar has no record of it. Is this not manufactured anymore?
