I don't know for sure but I'm thinking they are shims for the sway bar mount or clamps for the leaf springs. If they are clamps then they will eliminate separation of the spring pack under hard acceleration. Taking a guess.

What clips? Under the hood behind the bumper is one bolt for each air duct and they go through a flat plastic piece that wont come out easily. The A/C condenser is in the way it appears. I need to do some more work tonight on this and figure it out but any help would be great.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I like this set up you have. I have an 04 with stock wing. Sounds like this set up is hard to find and I need a different wing? So is that wing on your truck slightly narrower to fit the tonneau than my stock wing bolted to the bed rails?
