Ya think you got real lucky. Don't take any chances definitely inspect and or upgrade top end
Also I would replace head bolts, rocker arm bolts and lifter cradle bolts. I didn't do my lifter bolts and they backed off and toasted the motor
Its not to complicated just a pain in the ass at some points. Take the heads to a machine shop to have them cleaned inspected and new bigger...
