I have the same truck and the same issue. I haven't fixed mine yet, but you can find a steo-by-step fix here that a guy put out for his Durango many yrs ago. I believe it's the exact same thing for our Rams. Basically, there's a bad washer in one of the slider rails that needs to be replaced...

Hello! I found your posts on the forum and was wondering how your TIPM fix has been holding up (assuming you still have the truck). I spoke with ASI yesterday and might be sending them my '06 QC to fix what seems to be TIPM problems. Just wondering if it's worth it or not...... Thanks! Mike
