    05 RC driveshaft damper?

Was it common to have a damper on the driveshaft? Talking about an 05 RC. It’s located near the trans tailshaft. Quite large and looks heavy. Is there an equivalent replacement without the damper or can it be removed. Gotta get under there again to see but is it only on the slip yoke side of...

    Age old question, which clutch?

Well, add brakes to the list now. Out for a drive and saw smoke coming from the pass side front. Got a wiff and new right away it was the brakes. Luckily was around the corner on the way home. I didn’t get a chance to use the temp gauge on it but the rim was way too hot to touch. I could feel...

    Age old question, which clutch?

And for reference on current condition of my clutch, it can’t do a burnout at the moment. It slips letting it out at just above idle and the pedal is high before full engagement. But....if I get rolling at say 15-20mph and stand on it, it’ll slip a little for a second and then grab good enough...

    Age old question, which clutch?

My truck will only see a load a couple times a year, Dirtbike on a hitch carrier and my whole area here in SC is flat. No starting on hills. I understand the characteristics of a heavier flywheel as I’ve messed with them tons on dirtbikes and know of the effects. Have always taken them off the...

    Age old question, which clutch?

There was one in the Centerforce clutch kit as advertised. 26 spline if I’m not mistaken, so it should work.

    Age old question, which clutch?

Haven’t gotten around to it yet and it’s killing me, lol. Just received the JTSVP shifter the other day so now I have everything to complete the entire project. Even though it’s not a daily driver, I wanted to minimize down time in the driveway. Currently she rests inside a fully enclosed 10x20...

Broken circlip on lower ball joint.

So does anyone have any info on the circlips for the lower ball joints? While degreasing the front spindle during a wheel bearing swap I must’ve dislodged a piece of the circlip that secures the lower ball joint in place (grease and grime prolly held it in place). I haven’t tried measuring it...

    Rocker lash/torque settings

I see now, it’s just a bolt instead of a stud with lock nuts. Never had the valve covers off on mine yet. Watched a few videos about the viper rocker arm geometry. It’s similar to modern 4-stroke dirtbikes needing shims (and sometimes longer pushrods in the case of a bigger cam that has a...

    Rocker lash/torque settings

With lash adjustment I thought you’re supposed to rotate assembly so that lifters are on the base circle of cam (lowest spot with valves closed) and tighten down the rocker till the push rod just starts to bind under it (rotate the push rod with fingers). Then tighten more by about 1/4-3/4 of a...

    Dual sensor wideband?

Trying to get outside after work or even on the weekends is difficult with a little one in the house, lol. If the virus situation gets any worse it could possibly shut society down enough for me to be able to start working on it for more than 10 mins at a time. Hahaha

    Dual sensor wideband?

Still waiting on a few items to come before the project starts but here’s my pile, lol. Gonna have the pre cat sensors relocated to right after the collector and plug off the ones in the primaries. And if I get a CEL on the post cat sensors I’ll just delete them from programming. I’ll def need...

    Stage 8 header bolts?

I’ll stick to the Stage 8 hardware. They’ve worked flawlessly for me in the past. Total piece of mind knowing they won’t take a permanent vacation on the interstate. They also have locking nuts too. Not the plastic in the end or crimped ends either. They’re just like the bolts with an e-clip.

    Stage 8 header bolts?

Hahaha, nothing grossed me out, it does my wife though, and she gets all the messy diapers it seems, lmfao. She complained the other day cause she got some under her nail the other day and almost cried. Me also working on Fire sprinkler piping all the time the nastiness in there is completely...

    Stage 8 header bolts?

As soon as things around the household settle down (newborn, lol) I’ll have enough time to get wrenching on the 10. In the meantime this corona crap is very entertaining to say the least, hahaha! They can call it whatever they want by digging deeper and identifying whatever variable cells are...

But is it really a 3” exhaust system?

And I think the accelerometer recorded a HP level at the wheels of 415 if I remember. That should all change once the clutch is good.

But is it really a 3” exhaust system?

Me too, but unfortunately I have to do the clutch first which is getting really bad and slipping for the last year and a half since I bought it. I’ve really never known how good it’s been to begin with. So it’ll be a little hard to tell using the ole butt dyno. I do have one 0-60 run in my...

But is it really a 3” exhaust system?

So after putting this out on other forms of media, I asked about what I found in my new Belangers headers, midpipes, high flow cats system with a full Magnaflow cat back. It’s advertised on multiple sites as a “complete 3” exhaust system that requires no cutting or welding, full bolt on”. Well...
