    TV Cable Help

I did notice the output speed sensor was broken when I was down there yesterday too. I had checked it while driving previously and it was reporting, and the connector was still magically plugged in, but the sensor housing was broken so I have a new one coming.

    TV Cable Help

I’ll check that cable today. Do you mean the white clip on the TV adjuster? I do have it, the new used one was missing so I transferred it from my mangled one, that’s why it’s not there in the picture.

    TV Cable Help

Under light throttle, what RPM does the 48RE usually shift? I mainly notice it with the 1-2 shift since thats when I'm trying to sneak through the neighborhood, but mine doesn't shift until 3500, and it is harsh enough to chirp the serpentine belt.

    TV Cable Help

Good news! The TV cable fixed 90% of my tranny issues, specifically not wanting to downshift on deceleration occasionally. The shifts are still really harsh at low throttle, but at medium and WOT they are fine. It's had some tranny work done before I got it so I'm not sure exactly what they did...

    Deleting Posts

I might be an idiot, but I can't find how to delete my post in which I accidentally replied to the wrong thread (it is in the DIY section if it has different rules that the rest). Has the delete post option vanished with the new update?

    TV Cable Help

Hi Ronnie, I was able to find a used low mileage one on the facebook group. It just showed up yesterday and I'll be installing it today. Having them side by side the one I had was more hacked together than I originally thought. Hopefully this helps my shifting issues. The old one had a lot...

    TV Cable Help

Thanks Ronnie, that's a good idea. I had been looking around and bike suppliers kept popping because of their clutch and throttle cables, but I didn't even think of just bringing the cable in to a shop and let them deal with it.

    TV Cable Help

To update my own thread: The part number is 53032665AE (supposedly, I still don't trust the dealer). It has been long discontinued and there are no aftermarket suppliers. I did call up my buddy who is an engineer for Chrysler, he said the TV cable is SRT specific even though the diesels also...

    TV Cable Help

On my new QC the TV cable has been repaired shoddily by the TB. I'm not sure if it was cut or just wore through, but it has been crimped together. I'm having trouble finding one online anywhere, all I can find is the throttle cable for accelerator, or the shift cable for the transmission...

Looking for info on 05 QC

It might be, it photographs well. It needs basically a whole respray, the AZ sun kills clearcoat. I did an auto check on it and there was a NV registration in the past, but it wasn’t the last 2 so it doesn’t show the registration date on that one.

Looking for info on 05 QC

This is the only engine bay pic I have on my phone, I have some more at home. It cleared the PPI with minor things other than needing a respray, so I made him an offer last night, looks like I’ll be joining you soon. Even if the forged internals aren’t there the price was low enough.

Looking for info on 05 QC

I found the registry shortly after making this post. I did a quick search for the VIN but didn't find anything; I'm not sure if there is a better way to search for it.

Looking for info on 05 QC

I'm looking at buying a particular red 05 QC. It has a Roe supercharger and supposedly forged internals and built tranny. Seller bought it like this but can't register it in Cali so is selling. Is this truck known to anyone here? Maybe the former owner? I just want to get some more details...
