2005 Yellow Fever Edition RC, original owner w/ 21,600 miles. Over the last 1.5 years or so the truck dies while driving, everything dead, no chimes, no IP illumination, even the odometer is blank upon opening the door. Once it sits for a while (from a few minutes to several hours) it comes back to life and drives normally (until the next time it happens). When it first started happening it was very infrequent, but has been happening more frequently lately (every few days). No codes thrown. I have suspected some malfunction with the ASD, but I haven't been able to determine how that function really works to further diagnose. I have replaced the ASD relay under the hood I do have the 4 volume factory service manual,

Thanks, Ray

My other car, which is a German had a no start issue which ended up being a ground issue which was caused by hard shifting. Motor mounts were moving too much, tore the ground right off the back of the engine. Went to some updated mounts and fixed it. Sounds like an ignition issue though.
