I appreciate the responses. Like you, I have yet to tear into the seats, the heat outside is crazy! I do have a few other questions though. Did you notice a difference in performance by dropping the thermostat to 170°? I'm also looking at the BBK throttle body and also want to install a ram air intake. Do you know if they will mate up to each other?

I went with the 170 when I bought my SCT tuner ... and also installed the BBK throttle body in a the first group buy for after market throttle bodies for the 10’s from Cherry Performance .. I’m using a K&N cold air setup with K&N filter ..
As for performance I did notice the most with the tune ... throttle body seemed to make it feel a little more responsive... K&N appears to just make it roar louder , intake roar .The reason for the 170 thermostat was because it is hot as a baking turd in the desert in Florida, so just looking for a cooler running engine ..
I have never dyno’ed the truck so power or performance gains are all set of the pants feel ... all in all the tuner was number 1 , mines a Quad cab .. throttle body number 2 complimented with the K&N for looks .. they do make one called the VOLANT which actually connect to the scoop . As for gains ??? I’m sure someone on here might be able to help with the gains you get from each add on .. otherwise you can search the forums (pain in the butt ) for info on that .. was discussed many times in the past .
I installed a transmission modified valve body and shift kit .. love the shifting now ..

PS; Personally I would prefer to have bought jtsvp throttle body that came out later .. one day I might switch .. I have had no problems with the BBK ,, but others have with a sticking throttle

The K&N seems to be more open to the engine compartment heat even with the heat shield installed ..

Tried we 40 to test to see if it helps .... so far no different...
both ,y seats will move forward and backward ... they both move up and down on the back side ,, the motors both just buzz when I try moving the front part of the seat up or down ... going to let it sit and soak for a couple days and see if it helps ..
