Hello
ive decided to switch over to the project section and center all thoughts and ideas here, so maybe years after somebody could use the knowledge here.

As you guys know, i will convert my QC to a manual.
And the upcoming point is the clutch decision.
I simply could not decide what to go for...
Fidanza flywheel or stock one, in case aftermarket steel or aluminium, single plate or twin plate?

For the hydraulics i would take the stock master cylinder and the slave cyl would be a viper one.

May you could help me with the clutch point.

All the best!

Regards Max

Back in the day the Fidenza was mentioned a lot maybe do search if you haven't

I am running std flywheel with a South Bend clutch, 800ftlb rated, single plate. Street driveable better than factory. I am running over 700hp
The viper slave has different fittings. The plastic truck one is so it doesn't soak up the heat and cause vapor issues. That is what I was told. There maybe some better proof for what you need out there.

Depending on what power you have and what you are going to use it for, you don't need to go over the top on parts that cost a bunch and are not really necessary.
Do your homework first so you don't have any disappointments.
I am not an expert on these things. There are some out there that are.
I used John at Southeast Performance in Florida. A wealth of knowledge.

Please if possible try to document, list and post up as many pictures of this build as possible as this is a goal of mine also.

Where are you at in parts procurement?
Most aluminum flywheels chatter too much because of the weight of the clutch, especially a QC.
Several things you need plan for.
What YF # do you have?

I keep a Yellow Fever Registry to track which ones are still alive and document which dash number goes with which vin. Dodge never documented this and didn't even build them in sequential dash OR vin order. Would you mind sending me a pic of the dash bezel and pic of the door jamb decal showing the build information in the lower leftcorner (mdh)? Thanks

It seems that's what made the Fidenza a popular flywheel was it's weight

As stated, car and truck master/slave combinations have different ends, everyone has their opinion on truck durability. The thing to remember is the car master/slave combo needs a spacer behind the master on the engine side of the firewall.
Other things you'll need
Rc steering wheel cover
Center dash cubby
Floor seal for shifter
Floor console
Shifter trim ring
Shifter boot with plastic support for trim ring
Shifter and ball
Remember to remove 48re adapter bolted to back of engine
TRUCK pilot bearing
T56 or t56/tr6060 conversion (but I haven't seen one hold up to the weight of the truck yet)
Remove big triangle support plate for t56 - the rest mounts the t56
Driveshaft - is truck lowered?
Leaving 2 piece or getting single driveshaft?

Now there is a comprehensive list of needs.
From someone who knows
