I just don't want to deal any more and I'm at the end of my rope. I have the 04 sitting at boomers. Built stroker motor with forged pistons, billet mains, CP pistons, total seal rings, oliver rods, Nitrided crank, coated bearings, additional oiling, Polished Paxton, Stryker heads, various other parts and pieces.

I have over $26,000 in receipts for parts, work etc - plus the truck itself. Truck is built to handle 1,200 hp.

Anyone looking for monster this will put you very close
 
Tom I know we dont see eye to eye, but dont throw your money out the window.
More than one of us have had problems, and it does make you want to just toss it out the door. But Bro, thats alot of money, and if your like me ,you work hard for it. You will not get any of it back ever, so your better off just finishing it up and enjoying it.
Think about it hard, if things have fallen apart, let me know, if I have to ,I can finish putting it together for ya, then you can get it tuned,.

but dont kick the bucket yet, I went thru an still going trhu the same thing, it want be worth getting rid of

Thanks guys. Things haven't fallen apart. I don't want this to effect my friendship with Gary. Its just I've tossed soooo much away and don't see any end in sight.

Truth is its been 11 months since I've even seen my truck...plus the wheels got stolen. What a mess..

Tom, hang in there….not many have been through this….my truck was gone for 11 months and was returned smoking and leaking oil….Hennessey and Nick are both coming to my house tomorrow to work out the problems…..I can say this the end product will put a smile on your face…..not many people will have a vehicle that when you floor it at 50mph can turn the tires over.

It is such a rush to drive and it can beat down almost any non modified vehicle on the road.....That is priceless…..stay with it your in good hands with Gary…..my ride will go to him for some work this fall/winter when things slow down a little for him…..he will take good care of you…..unless you just really need the money I would not sell it……you know not many people know this but I offered my truck for sell to 2 people on this forum before she was done…..I am glad both turned me down.:) :) :)

Go get yourself a bucket, a walking stick, and a cheap steering wheel from pep boys, and a fifth of JD.

Wait till no one is home, turn up some ZZ top REAL loud!

Walk into a small closet , close the door, sit on the bucket, use the stick as a gear shift, and hold the steering wheel.

Fire up a big Hog Leg Joint, take a few big swigs of JD, and enjoy!:D

I agree to a point. However, buy a bow-legged Ho and go to town on her for a night, maybe two. Keep her in the closest for personal re-attacks. Change music to Iron Man by Black Sabbath. Wear your wife's thong around the house after a good snarling and chant "I like them french fired potaters" in your best Billy Rae Thornton Sling Blade voice.

Tom I had to quote Stinker because he has a very good point. I know I can't compare my situation with yours because I definately didn't go as far as you did to have a situation. But the key word here is FAR. You have been on a long journey; too long to just turn around now. Think about the fundage you spent thus far. I'm sure if you completed the task you will find it far more rewarding than simply putting an end to the spending. Giving up now will just make it easier for someone else. Rome sure wasn't built in a day.
