I just bought an Eclipse AVN7000 indash navigation dvd monitor.
I have been doing car audio for years but I figured one of you might have already located the speed sense wire and the reverse back up wire needed for the nav to function properly.I can tap in at the rear taillights for the reverse wire but thats a long way from the front.Does anyone know of a place in the dash area that i can tap into to get the reverse signal i need, as well as the speed sense wire? I would hate to take it in , since i know all the other connection very well.Any help would be appreciated. Bill

If you cant wait, call 619-390-5650 and ask talk to the owner. Tell him Patrick with the red-srt-10 sent you. He should be able to answer your question. He is the owner of the stereo shop and also a viper truck owner.

I haven't done this on the SRT-10, but I did with my Durango. For the reverse sensing I did go directly to the taillight, mostly because I didn't have a wiring diagram and wanted to get the install done the same day.

For the speed sensing wire, I tapped into the ABS sensor at the front right wheel. There was only one wire on the Durango (must ground through the chassis/mount) so it was easy to ID. Should be similar on the SRT10.
