Nice man! That's a gorgeous engine!! PICS OF what you WANT TO DO NEXT please!

How many miles on her? That valve doesn't look too crusty, IMO, but I'm not digging the wear mark. (From looks in picture, it's mainly worn on one side of the shaft?)

Was it running poorly, or was power your only motivator?

ran great, 70,000 miles. It burnt 2 quarts every 1000 miles, I think it was getting plan 'ol wore out. Its been sprayed a 250 shot for two years now.

So is this a GEN 4 motor swap or a top end conversion on a GEN 3? I remember another member did a top end conversion with the Mopar Kit and was let down with his results & costs. Def need a cam if doing the Mopar Gen 3 to 4 conversion kit.

I'm going to bore mine and add a cam, I will have a motor that will benefit from more flo from the heads, not just a swap on a stock motor. and if im wrong i'll just put bigger jets in the Nx until it makes how every much power I want...

I came back from lunch to find my garage like an oven, ill do some more tonight once it cools off, ill snap some pics as I go.

Did you have the rubber isolator removed on your shifter when it broke?

Yep, washer stacked in there place. I am just bolting it with some new hardware this time.

You going with new sleeves and a big over bore or just a clean up of the factory sleeves

Re-sleeved see how big we can get it.

Removing the intake is a pinta even with the motor pulled...

Awesome:rock: definitely interested to see the outcome. Intake is a breeze with a 1/4 inch drive torx bit and a few extensions I used some electrical tape to keep the bit and extensions from coming apart pulling it in and out from between the runners

All I got out of that. :dontknow:

intake, heads, water pump, tstat housing...

I think every gasket on the motor was leaking, loose bolts and oil everywhere.

Gen IV conversion is starting to be a huge question for me, I think I might speed the money else where on the build... send the heads to greg good, and the intake to nitro daves
