Calling all members past, present, and future

His truck is sc - and it's red (lol)
I got it ,, us QC owners can be a bit slower i admit .. but since my truck is the fastest color I was only seeing the avatar of a red truck until I read the shifter was replaced then my confusion came to light hahahaha :p

Also with the manual transmissions the hydraulics were insufficeint and a lot of owners upgraded the system ,,, master and slave cylinders ....

How many miles is on the truck ,,, it might need the clutch ,pressure plate , check the flywheel , throwout bearing ... it depends on the way the truck was driven in the past .. these trucks tend to get run hard ...

Drain the fluid and check for metal flakes ...

Actually I was supposed to be the 1st ROE SC, but Roy was moving from Jacksonville to Chicago, so I stepped aside so he could have Sean build his. I was the 2nd.
I sold my truck to a fella in TX, unsure where it is now. I was under the impression he pulled the motor and was putting forged pistons/upgrading. Dunno?

I was through Morseville years ago, and tried Tony on the mobile, LM, but never heard anything. Glad to hear he's still at it.

I moved to Ohio after retiring from the FD to attempt saving my marriage, and to take care of the folks. Both our families are here.

After the divorce in 18', ( only cost me 480k, and $1500/mo till I'm dead) flip two houses, and managed to buy this house next to the folks. Back on my feet, and now, after a year post house fire, back into the house.

Regarding a Chevy, there's just not enough legroom in the damn things, being 6'4" has its drawbacks sometime.

Divorces are messed up ! Thats a crazy amount to pay.. Im sure the lawyers got a big cut , their all shisters lol . Ill take it you got divorced in Ohio , high cost of living state is my guess for such a high monthly payment ..
At least your near your folks . Flipping houses can be a lucrative way to make a decent buck .... it does sound as though your back on track with the good the bad and the ugly ..

I was close on the Roe install ,,, Prof got the win hahahaha ! Either way it was close enough and Ill call it a tie for the first Roe install hahaha ...

It would be cool,to see what has happened to #270 today and hopefully wasnt beat up ..

Truck has 18,000 miles, no slipping of the clutch the hard to convert 2nd to 3rd was still there the problems I was feeling were all in the shifter.
the other two low mile rc 10’s I’ve had were stock hurst shifters but were no issue and smooth other than the normal 2nd-3rd toughness. I really needed to pull or push the shifter into each gear hard and felt corse everywhere In between.

if I have to rebuild the motor I’m definitely doing the transmission for good measure

Holy crap! I'm glad I am not married anymore. Been married and divorced twice. My current partner/girlfriend and I decided not to get married and it's been the best relationship of my life! Her money is her money and my money is my money. So, no arguments over money, ever. This red SC is my second SRT-10, and I bought it to fix up to be a show truck, but still a daily driver. I don't believe in garage queens that never get driven. I drive the crap out of both my Corvette and SRT-10! Life is too short not to enjoy them to the fullest.

Thats low mileage and unless it was abused you should not be haveing trans problems ..

Sounds like the way to go on the relationship! As for garage queens, I'm guilty! She has been the Queen for many years now mostly due to life changes and living in rural area that is not what I want to subject her to very often hahah but definitely want bring her out soon maybe in spring

Baby needs new shoes!
