Cam Bearing Installation

We have developed an align-boring procedure to repair damaged cam housings. The camshaft rides in the aluminum housing, if the housing is damaged due to oil starvation or excessive spring pressure, you are left with few options. We can repair the damage, and install a coated cam bearing in all six cam housings. The cam bearing inside diameter is the same as the factory 2.093" aluminum cam housing, allowing you to use any stock or aftermarket camshaft. Please look at our albums for photos of the repairs. would this be a good process to do if there is nothing wrong with the block???

If your not modifying the engine, and you don't have any problems, I would leave it alone. If the engine is already out of the car or truck, you may consider it for insurance. We are currently working on installing Roller Cam Bearings in the Viper Blocks. I don't know how big of a housing size I can safely go to without compromising the strength of the block. I know I can safely install a 50mm bearing, but the cam journal size would go from a stock 2.090" down to 1.969" compromising cam lobe lift and profile design. I would like to install a 55mm, don't know if the block will take it. I will keep you posted. Sorry about the web-site, I havn't had time to finish it.

You can use one out of old v10 out of 3500 with cast block . They work fine .
