Just saw on TV (I am not at the race) that there was a major pile-up.....this is one of the biggest races at Bristol and is sold out with almost 200,000 people at the track..........race fans could not have ordered better weather tonight...low humidity and temps in low 70s..unusual around here for August...........I live about 20 minutes from the track and have been watching the F-15 jets buzzing overhead this evening....the airspace is restricted and patroled at each race since 911...

Ya know............Bristol was more fun to watch before they repaved it. I like the bump and run style of racing. These long green flag runs get boring to me. Cautions and restarts make for more exciting racing IMO. Maybe the track will age some over this next year and "loosen things up a little".
Would love to watch a race there though........looks like a blast!
