Anybody in central GA ever used JJspecs dyno in Macon? I'm thinking about going there in about two weeks or so and was wondering if it was a decent place?
Never heard any one say anything about them. I have heard a few talk about Reeves. I think they have a Mustang dyno in there shop. http://www.reevesrpmperformance.com/
Thanks ram vs cougar, I was at reeves last week and didn't even know they had a dyno...I might stop by and dyno my Viper and Ram.
what ever dyno you choose, choose one close, dont go by the numbers but its a tuning tool, but use it from here out, that way you can see mod changes, going from one dyno to another just to see a bigger number does no good, find one close, stay with it. maybe that will help
Yea I know, I'll probably just dyno my ram since I havent before. The Vipers been dynoed at Roes and he does all my tuning. He'll also be doing my tune after I install my Greg good heads and 2.8L blower.
oh wow lol ha ha ha guess you didnt think to ask. Call to make sure but i think I remember a few talking about it. Where are you located in Warner Robins or Macon?
Oh ok cool. Yeah i havent ran across you yet. I drive a 05 Black Quad Cab. There are about 8 of us scattered around this area. Have you ran into any of them or see any? All Quad cabs, 4-Black, 2-Red and 2-silver maybe more but there are one i know for sure.
Ask for Steve at Reeves. He runs the Dyno. Save your dyno sheet too. You get a free track day at Silverdollar raceway with it. Brian Anderson also has a his own dyno in town.
Thanks guys, I'll hit reeves up next week when I get back from Michigan. I just want to make two runs. One with and one without the Meth. I'm sure it's running rich since it's just an SCT "can" tune from roe without modifications.
Stopped by Reeves today and set up an appointment for Monday at 1. $125 for three pulls isn't bad. Thanks Guys. Colin
Oh ok cool beans man. If i would have added some more power adders to my 10 i would have meet you and did some pulls myself. I am stock and got dynoed when i bought the SCT. Cant wait to hear the results. Let us know how it goes.
Just got back a few hours ago. The numbers seemed kinda high, but Steve said most people feel his dyno reads low. Temp was 95+. Max corrected was 607.1hp/564.7tq, uncorrected 558.5/519.6. My A/F was 14.7-14.1 all the way up to 4400 then it dropped steadly to 10.0. I leave in a few days to go overseas so I'll probably either let Torrie or Sean dyno tune it when I get back. I don't like how lean it was down low and high rich it was after 4700. I'll post up the chart when I get a chance.
Yeah you might want to get Torrie to tune it. 14.7 AF is really high. Is that with a Roe or a paxton? Nice numbers though. Is that on a stock engine or forged?
