Continued from 2007 ... GO DOW GO!!

Ally was a good bonus deal and I’m sure still has good deals .. they are an online bank only but not a fintech … they offer everything banking . No fees , no mins, one of the higher interest rates , the cost match loans from other companies and seem to have a better interest rate . I’ve been banking with them for decades . Yes I was nervous at first to open an account without brick and mortars,, but have been very satisfied even now .. even with a few resolved glitches .. one with a brokerage transfer and the last one with a bill pay same day fee that should not have happened which I think ai posted about in a previous post .

Worthless to me ..
25k, must keep a avg daily balance of 10k for 6 months . You get the 5.5% for 5 months and drops to 1% , fees if you don’t meet requirements of $15 per month and closing before 6 months a closing penalty fee of $30.. I saw all that in less tha 3 minutes looking at the first page.
I have not idea who they are ! My guess is they are a fintech company and those are dangerous when it come to actually being FDIC Guaranteed .. THERE WAS NEWS JUST RECENTLY ABOUT FINTECH making people think they are FDIC.

No way I’m locking up 10k cash or get fees..
They are legit they've been in our area for years

Those are the best reasons to get to the point to pay cash for everything you buy

So they are a brick and mortar bank .. are they affiliated with another large bank ?
Fintech has been around for year and a lot are in Cali .

I keep all my assets as liquid as possible and as fast as possible..
remember ai got 250$ for opening a brokerage account with 2000$ on a 90 day collect bonus with AXOS .. FUNNY THAT I decided to hold onto the brokerage account which I had no intentions of doing lol and make even more on a monthly basis with divs. And the gains are in the green .. I just take the cash and use it when I want a little extra to invest in my other brokerages by transferring to a higher interest account first ..or use some to buy M&M’s .. ve never added more cash to that brokerage account since . It’s like a passive cash thing and won’t be much longer to have double the investment value .. I am overwound half way there now .

I told about 5 people about the bonus deal and only 1 other did it .. I guess most people just don’t like easy money free cash .

It’s the same with changing a bank with higher interest like Ally instead of staying with a low interest bank like Bank of non America at maybe 1% tops lol .. only one person I’ve told change or opened an account ..
Ally had a deal with 12 month CD’s with higher rates if you bought in with 25k ,, there were zero penalties for early withdrawal or anything .. each year the rate does change , but that’s the same as all CD’s ..

new York Community Bank is the parent company that's all i know

The rates will be changing soon some say cd is the way to go but then your money is locked up for the most part

If you look at RYLD and like high rates it’s a great way to stay liquid and make around 12% .. I have owned shares for a long time and made back more than what the investment amount I put in that’s down .. I started buying prior to the pandemic and the price like every other investment position dropped hard .. RYLD is still in a dang good price range and I believe without a doubt my position will turn all green in a short time . While I continue to cash ing on the around 12% yield payouts .. you won’t IMO find another low cost position that pays that kind of % monthly .
That’s why I mentioned it so many times .. the price is low enough for growth on top of it . My adding price I try for is when it goes under 16$ per share .. appears I missed it again today so far on adding @15.98 and its now 16.11 ..

The bonus offers with no direct deposit requirements are the best IMO since I don't think changing the direct deposits are worth the bonus they offer especially if you can earn more than they offer with something like a maybe a TBill although i haven't actually checked that fact lol
I don’t do direct deposit at all and every offer I get in the mail says WITH DIRECT DEPOSIT .. They go start into my file 13

What's the take on physical gold and silver? They sure push that on every chance they get! They don't seem that liquid though

Looks like the tech is recovering - whouda thunk?!? Hahahaha

Bugs the heck out of me pushing physical gold and silver .. you buy at the days price , get charged more buy the seller .. my question is we’re are you going to spend the gold ? Do people really think f the sell it , where are they going to sell it and the buyers won’t pay the price they will cut throat the price because they want to resell for money … like a Pawn shop !

Of course it will … that’s the market ,, the manipulative bigs just take the market down to buy back more to make more money and repeat lol

That one does sound like a good yield for sure!

Does that dividend stay the same each month or does it fluctuate? What determines that yields? Sorry still learning :)
