My passenger front crackles sometimes with heavy base. Haven't experienced an intermittent issue though. Remember, these speakers are older tech, and the cones can't handle the heat of summer as well. Get a nice set of Bose speakers.

I had this problem. As well as windows and locks. It turned out to be the wiring harness for the door. They are a known issue with third gen rams. Check youtube, lots of videos on how to replace them.
