Evo 4g (Android 4.0) help!!!

ok...im not too savvy about this kind of shit..but maybe a few of you guys are. Android released their new software a few weeks ago but for some reason its not available for the evo 4g. ive read on a few forums that there is a "port" or hack for installing the new software. can anyone help me with this? thanks

Gotta get root on the phone before you can do the ICS hack. Pretty ready to do, but there is a chance of bricking it.

Ok lol. Root access lets you have complete admin of phone. There are plenty of good tutorials out there, just google evo 4g root. ICS is the new version for android, stands for ice cream sandwich. And bricking is when u kill the phone, turning it into a paperweight lol.
