Header/Manifold question

Will the manifolds, and or headers from a Viper 488 or truck 488 fit the 505?

I believe you may be able to bolt them on, but you will have a problem routing an exhaust system.

The reason I ask, is the headers for a 488 Truck are super cheap, and I have a good exhaust fab guy. If the flange is the same, and the 1 5/8 primarys are big enough, modifying the collector and getting exhaust to fit should'nt be to hard. Input is much appreciated. Thnaks.

i think it a differnt head all together and not even the same flange will work

Check out my website! I have picks of the Magnum heads, Gen 1 Viper heads, and the Gen 3 Viper heads! Magnum bolts are 0.51" closer (diagonally) than the Vipers (Gen 3) spacing is the same the Vipers exhaust ports are .2" wider though! That and the Gen 3 heads have 3 to the right 2 to the left bolt pattern and the Magnum's have all 5 pairs to the right. So NO WAY will the factory manifolds fit! Headers could/would with flange modifications.
