On a related note, horse is still served in restaurants in Switzerland and easter France. I've seen it on menus.
Chitlins are a delicacy in the lower end South with annual cook offsAll the dicks, butt holes and the like are trimmed off and go with the guts bones blood etc to the Animal By-Products Plant. They cook it up render the tallow, make meat meal, blood and bone etc. We certainly don't eat that stuff in NZ. Maybe a bit different if you eat meat meal (animal food) I think you maybe getting pranked by the animal groups or vegan activists. There is that saying tho, "Only in America"
Don’t forget Kangaroo burgers at MCDonaldsOn a related note, horse is still served in restaurants in Switzerland and easter France. I've seen it on menus.
Ewwwww!!! It's probably a delicacy! Do they call it horse or some fancy name?On a related note, horse is still served in restaurants in Switzerland and easter France. I've seen it on menus.
Apparently horse meat is supposed to be really nice and good for you. I know that during and after WW2 when there was nothing to eat, horse was real popular and still is now. It is funny apparently the Dutch won't eat sheep. I haven't been but 2 bro inlaws are DutchEwwwww!!! It's probably a delicacy! Do they call it horse or some fancy name?
I don't eat sheep either and never have had lamb. Horse very well could be good I think we are conditioned to think that only certain animals are for eating. That's good stuff right there!
Yeah , say it 3 times real fast lol
And welcome, Mike! That Snakeskin Green looks damn good on the truck — whoever did the repaint definitely picked the right color. And that’s one hell of a stable you’ve got listed in your sig too.I sold my '72 Chevy Cheyenne K20 last summer and decided earlier this year that I needed a replacement, but one that I didn't need to pull myself up into the cab by the steering wheel. I looked at lowered square bodies, Roush trucks, Lightnings and Daytonas before discovering what I think is great value and style in these SRT-10s.
I bought this as is with 65k miles and have had it for a week but I'm still without plates, so I've only driven a few miles around the neighborhood. The truck was originally black. The previous owner had it repainted (bed, doors, and hood off) and there's no indication anywhere that it didn't come from the factory in Snakeskin Green. It looks new. Interior has been reupholstered in black leather and faux suede with matching green stitching, including the steering wheel. It's got JTS lowering springs and new LED headlight and taillight assemblies.
The powertrain is completely stock. I plan to drive it a while before decided what performance mods if any I'll add. Although I think I'd start with better shocks.
Yeah it's a minefield. My ex wife was a pom they just called it Wuss-ter. At least the Chinese got theirs right and just called theirs SoyAnd welcome, Mike! I like the plan of driving it for a while before deciding what to mess with. These trucks have a funny way of turning “maybe I’ll just do shocks” into a completely different financial situation.
And Jim… LMAO, I’d pronounce Worcestershire “war sister shire” and call it close enough

DIY time hahahaha and the post is no good without pics lolI've been driving it as my daily since I got it. I love it. Today I installed a Mopar branded Speed Dawg black and green shift knob which looks awesome. I've got a Magnaflow cat back exhaust in the garage waiting on the Belanger headers and high flow cats to arrive. I can hear the burbling through the stock exhaust but I feel others need to enjoy that sound with me. I keep looking at shocks but I'm pretty happy with the way the truck drives.
As for the sauce that shall not be named, I lived in London for 8 years and even there nary a soul would take on the pronunciation.
