I'm getting CEL code P0138-O2 SENSOR 1/2 CIRCUIT VOLTAGE TOO HIGH - SRT10. I have no cats and the O2 sensors are supposed to be turned off. I have tried clearing with the battery and the SCT. It goes away but comes back. What else can I do? :dontknow:

Smoke is your truck a '04?

If so it is possible (with '04's to simply strap the O2 Sensors to the frame and put a plug in the bung. Then the O2 sensor is getting clear air as it wants and it solves the problem. My sensors have been strapped to the frame from the start...Sean did it for me when I bought the truck and eliminated the cats.

I don't drive my truck in wet weather so I never had problems with the sensors getting wet.

I think the pcm was changed after '04 so you had to add the spacers with a hole drilled into the exhaust stream to eliminate the CEL when the cats are deleted.

edit---i read your code wrong...

have you replaced your left downstream o2 sensor? typically with that code your o2 sensor has failed. i take it you do not have sims?

Truck is an 05. The code is the same one it had when I picked it up from Marty. I emailed him and the reply was that is is open loop. I told him it was the same code it had when I picked it up and how do I get rid of the open loop. That was Dec 1st.

according to his signature its a quad cab .....since they did not make a qc in 04 i can only assume that it is not an 04

thats bullshit imho he should flippin get back to you

Bro, if you have the rear o2 sensors off of the truck then it's going to throw a code I think it's p0138 or p0158, I cant remember the code exactly. I had trouble with it throwing a code because I removed my secondary sensors completely, but found out you have to have the secondary o2 sensors plugged in on the wire harness side and just zip tie the ends to the tranny brace on the top of the bar. The sensors need to be plugged in on the harness side so they send a signal, the SCT tune looks for that signal it sends and cancels it out, least I think thats what it does. Hope that helps.

I had codes P1281 and P0420 and P0432 come up about the cats and O2 sensor ,I also have a SCT tuned by Marty and he told me that "SCT doesn't have a program available yet to eliminate the rear 02 sensors from reading codes" ,that was part of the reason why I bought a SCT Tuner, to run catless mids without having codes popping up!! Will get it resolved when I run a totally different tune with the ROE on.

Smoke, just strap your rear O2 sensors to the frame...try to do it in a way that the tips can drain if you get some splash...(recommend you put the simulators on, that will lessen the splash problem). Plug your bungs (you can buy plugs at any auto parts store, careful there are several sizes.)

The issue of Marty not returning your call is the third or fourth time I have heard this issue...I am a member of another site that flames him pretty severely...

Is there someone around that knows him and could encourage him to be a little more responsive? The only other person that I recall had a good relationship with him was Clint...that says something in my mind...

A few weeks ago he sent me a program that turned off the sensors so I thought he had it figured out. I tried to get one from Roe but Marty would not give me the file I needed to get it done.

I will try this when I get a chance.

No sims but I think one of the sensors got damaged and replaced during the build. I'm just trying to figure out if this is a catless problem or actual bad sensor.

check the wires on the harness. I know when I did my clucth I pinched the pass side harness for the top O2 sensor and it threw a code but mine was low voltage so more then likly it is a bad O2sensor, 30 bucks at advanced auto or 40 bucks at napa.

That checks.
