Hydraulic Fan Power Steering fittings

Luckily I do less than 1 minute and It's a shell I have accumulated 50 cents off a gallon so it will come in handy for that 91 octane.
Walking distance hahahaha

Update so after switching to the jtsv power steering fittings. I have a lot less of a seep. It could use more teflton since I did the tape I will go ahead and remove it drain as much atf+4 and parts clean the threads and then use liquid teflon let dry and add atf+4 and do another test. But now it's leaking thru the top of the resorvior cap is there to much atf now in the system or something is causing a restriction.

Small the air out of the system , whats the PS dipstick show , is the caps seal good ?

Not sure about using the liquid teflon ,, I would prefer the tape which may hold better .. just my opinion since I never used the liquid

It's a new replacement power steering pump unit gots 6 hours driving to and from Vegas.
The cap seal should be good ,, make sure its not kinked ... definatly get the air out of the system IMO .. see if the fluid in the resavior gets frothy .

Pretty sure it's left over air in the system because it does whine here and there so it's bubbling out and causing it to seep out the resorvior cap area.

Cool of thats the case ,, maybe its causing some sort of extra pressure at the fittings also ..

So this is the second time I re inspected it. Fittings seem to hold. After a second time engine running and purging the air bubbles left to right steering wheel lock to lock procedure. And it seems part of the problem was as mentioned before air bubbles still in the system. And maybe the hose that goes to hydraulic fan on the resorvior side is seeping it's an old hose and since I replaced the pump it's maybe brittle and allowing to also seep on that end. But I'm so scared for it to work because I'm used to it not working right and always seeping.

Cool , looks good and clean ..
i can see the what appears to be a low pressure hose with clamps .. those most likly if brittle and old should be a simple replacement fix and clamp back on without problems .. maybe the resevior top was just dripping down on the hose and residule from the previous leaks at the higher pressure fitting getting on the clamped hose .
It appears you got it fixed IMO ..

I agree on the hoses it's happened more than once owning old cars. If the old hose wasn't leaking before once you disturb it or remove something and re install you will most likely get a leak due to age and or being dry and brittle. And it looks like this is part of the problem right now.

Sweet!!! It looks like your persistence paid off! Excellent outcome for sure and the hose replace should button it up!
