Im here now!!

Mike, without Speed Limit everybody is Close to you now :D

Ramstein is southwest of Frankfurt and Northwest of Stuttgart.
So there are some People around you that have a SRT10 and
i will inform them to Keep contact with you.

Currently we have a quit warm winter, but may have salt on the road.
Dont know if you have done undercarriage protection on your truck,
but if you want to stay longer in Germany, it may be worth into looking
at doing something like that.

I am in Hamburg, about 400 miles away, so approx 3:00 hours :burnout:

As mentioned before, we are planning to do another GTG in 2015. Will Keep you posted and again

Welcome to the Country of Speed !!!!

I keep seeing a silver 10 on base; I haven't been able to catch him yet to talk to him, but I wonder if he is on here

I wish I was close! I loved Ramstein! The family and I were stationed in Mannheim. Not the prettiest place(industrial), but just a short walk to the straussenbaun(spelling?) and could go anywhere after work. We Loved going to Ramstein to the O club on Sundays for Brunch, great spread!
The best part about being in Europe?...No matter how crappy your day may be at work, when you get off of work?...You are in Freakin Germany.

You have to go to Ladenburg(spelled right?) There is this awesome food establishment calleD Die Kartaffel(The potato). Best potatoes ever! and huge! You order whatever meat you like, it is brought out raw and on a hot stone. You cut it and cook it right there. Delicious!!

Get out all you can and see everything you can. Im a musician for the army and was on continuous TDY all the time, went to almost every country while I was there performing. Europeans are the most appreciative of the arts than I have ever met. There have been fist fights between local store owners about whose store my brass quintet was going to play in front of!

Oh and you got to have all the beers(liquid bread), cheaper than water and awesome!

For sure! My new job will be taking me to most, if not all, of the surrounding countries from Belgium to Africa...and I have already traveled from the UK to France (3x) Belgium (3x) Italy (2x) Amsterdam Norway Denmark Scotland and Ireland. I was stationed in England for 3 years and spent 15 months in Turkey right before that. So I will definitely be traveling from here as well...both for work and on my own time! Thanks for the mentioning some spots to check out! I was actually in Mannheim yesterday!!

I was stationed at Wiesbaden AB seems like a hundred years ago now..simply remembered the autobahn, friendly frauleins and the kick ass beer in that order. Even still have some old concert posters in the closet..boy those were the days.
