Installed Stinkers lowering Kit

Truck rides great! Only thing is it seems to bottom on hard bumps. Is this the way the bump stops should sit or shoul that metal shroud be removed around the bumpstop?

cut the whole thing off and replace it with a shorter one , ask stinker .

yup, cut it off at the weld. under it there should be a hole that you can bolt on a shorter bump stop.

Thanx. That is the shorter one inside that cup. I had a shop do it . I guess the didn't know!

The truck does ride remarkable well considering its riding on the stops. It is probably just touching. Drove it from CT and it was a pleasure to drive.

replied to ya pm bro, yeah whack off the metal part , install the bumpstop, and you may have to trim the bumpstop a little , maybe cut the very bottom ring off, that will leave a little free play till it gets to the bumpstop
