is this too much for a airplane?

So one of my buddies comes over the other day and says he is retiring to mexico. He has this old plane he wants to get rid of asking $125k. He says it flys good but guzzles gas and is a pain to maintain and get parts for. Do you think thats is a good price? here's a pic:
