Just heard that Dodge is going to release a new street truck.

We're waiting.... lol

It's a Whipple too, thought they would go with something more known to Mopar owners.
Whipple is very well known to Mopar owners, it's the most popular replacement for the stock Hellcat/Redeye/Demon blower. It's also the blower Mopar/DC is using on the higher end crate hemis, like the 1500 hp E85 426.

A step in the right direction for ram but still a feeble attempt imo. Copying ford isn't the ram I know and love. SRT needs to step up to the plate and deliver. Build a single cab and drop a hellcat in it with the supporting drive train. 95 k for a 4 door bighorn with a blower does not excite me, should be a laramie at least. Maybe the 5.7 will take boost, maybe it won't. Good lucking truck but its not the new srt 10 I'm waiting for .

That's pretty much what I was thinking! My nephew has the 700 hp super charged Ford F150 and this Ram looks similar in body style and design

EXACTLY, hellcat has been out for TEN YEARS and it takes an Aftermarket company to even try to give us a new sport truck, and then they use a 5.7 and still no reg cab short bed manual transmission

That is a nice looking truck. Downside with conversions...They're expensive for companies to do and hardly any long-term support.

Like before the TRX, they made the "Ram Runner," to contend with the Ford Raptor. Anything non-production on it is probably a nightmare to replace.

But who am I kidding...That's always been Mopar world. Need a brake caliper or body cladding for your SRT-10? Hilarious. You might have the privilege of overpaying for junkyard stuff.

The absolute truth. Even way back in the day, speed parts (even rebuild parts) were significantly more $$; 340 vs 350, 440 vs 454 (don't even mention a hemi) you'd always end up paying so much more, though ultimately with better results.
