new with question on used quad cab prices

hi everyone,

i'm considering the purchase of a black 2005 quad cab with 18K miles, extended warranty. what should i expect to be paying?

i've checked carmax, ebay, craigslist, and various forums, and asking prices vary quite a bit. what prices are people selling their trucks for?

id say in the 28-30 range...

oh ive got a 04' s/c RC black for sale...$26k delivered.... 17.5k miles...mint condition...
 
DITTO, offer 27-28K.

Or buy from someone on this site where you can trust the quality and condition of the truck.

yep...I think most guys here would agree with this. Lovethistruck & ChrisAZ both have 06's for sale and both are good deals.
 
Just got mine for 26.5K last week! Black Quad Cab 25K miles stock except for sound system and rims.
 
Burnt and Bone gave fair amounts but the market is NOT fair. Even though we all think the truck you are considering is worth at least mid 20s, you should be able to get it for that or less, not the high 20s. The warranty is probably not worth warm spit and the damaged wheels tells you a lot about the previous owner.

Odd...you had your '04 RC listed higher than that.....so why exactly is a QC with similar miles and a year newer worth the same or less than your truck????:dontknow: :dontknow:
 
I think it depends on where you are. I just bought my stock Blk '05 QC w/19k miles at the end of December for 30k. I should have found this site before I bought but... I looked on the sites you mentioned for a couple months and the trucks in the midwest and east coast were a few thousand cheaper. Everything on the west coast was 30k and up.
 
I was offered 28K for my 05 QC here in northern California. It has 17.5K miles with Magnaflow exhaust, extended warranty, Snugtop tonneau cover and BedRug. Sounds like I should accept it? Hardly get any inquiries from the ads I've posted.
 
Mines got 12k on her and I'll seel her to you for a handsome price of only 50,000 million, gagillion, billion dollars!:D:D:D

After some research I decided on the 06 QC(holds 10qts of oil vs8.5)

paid $32,188 for it w/9k mi. and am 100% satisfied with it.
