My gramps was a snowbird for a while and now fully resides in Punta Gorda. I can take the heat. My personal motto is "75*+ is ok with me. Anything else is too cold." Id rather take clothing off than have to add clothing.

Agree on the cold like up north … or winter regions .. In most areas Fl. You won’t see 75 very long , thats mostly winter here high temps. I moved here in Dec. 17 1997 .. and wish I lived back in Dallas Tx. lol hot there also but has 4 seasons yet less humidity.. Florida humidity is miserable even if you take all your close of you can wash your hair and take a shower in your sweet lol .. I probably have worn long pants but a couple dozen times since Ive lived here … the sun will fry you in the shade lol ..
Walking out of your home front door with A/C it feels like hitting a wall of skunk water the second you step outside making people turn around and go back inside … Can you tell I can’t stand Florida hahaha !

oh I understand. Not trying to 1up or anything, but i have been in Phoenix AZ, and LA during June. Walking outside just felt like death, dry death. While the East Coast is all just one big swamp of sticky wet death when its hot. I agree dry is better than wet, but both are better than snow. I dont use AC. My home dosnt have AC. I just open the windows for air flow.

Yeah, I agree. I lived in Las Vegas for 5 1/2 years. I went through Death Valley in August in a car with no air conditioning now that’s a hot son of a bitch. Best thing about the dry heat is you don’t need a dryer you just throw your clothes out on the fence and then a half an hour you could put them on and they were pressed ha ha ha. Actually, I’ve been here in Florida for so long. I wish it would snow in the Tampa area. It definitely beats swamp ass ha ha ha ha

Yea swamp ass does suck, I knew a guy who used a powder to keep him from sticking to him self from that. Last I heard though it causes cancer so im good there lmao
