Well it looks like it's going to be official #320 is going to be traded for an 06 GC SRT-8. Due to some parking restrictions and other things I really need one car right now. I have myself convinced that I will be able to drive the srt-8 in the winter, but that is yet to be determined. Going today to put the deposit down. I will definitely miss the 10 but man that 8 has some get up and go.

The GC is all-wheel drive. With snow tires there's no reason it can't be a winter vehicle. I watched some of the SRT staff spank a GC around Roebling Road racetrack in Savannah as part of Car & Driver's One Lap and it was pretty impressive for a big girl.

Looking like I may be heading toward a trade myself. Daughter gets her license pretty soon.

    I suspect I won't be getting anything as nice as a SRT-8 tho. :(

    Don't do its........

I helped buy the daughter a neon, she pays the difference in insurance and her own car payment. She's loves it and hardly ever asks to drive the truck anymore, especially after she saw how much it cost for a fill up:eek:

    ....................silence observed..................

Sorry to hear you're dropping the old girl for a new girl. I hope she doesn't get jealous and track you down afterward:2in1: :D

Enjoy the new ride, I would love to trade my wifes 95 GC on a new SRT 8...

At MOST you might invest in a winter set of wheels/tires. The tires might be the only issue in snow...no traction. I can't imagine the awd won't help a tremendous amount though. Our awd magnum had no problems last winter here in Denver.

    Congrats!

Please post pics when you get it - They are cool SUV's! Good Luck with it and ya gotta get us some timeslips!!

On a side note, I just got my car inspected today at the local Chrysler dealership and they had three 300 SRT-8's - Damn are they nice! I wasn't able to get in them as they were locked up, but they look super nice inside too!

The only thing I didn't really care for was the wheels. They are 20"ers, but kinda bland, IMO. Though, the Brembo's behind the wheels got my attention!

you know believe it or not my truck is mostly stock only mod was the magnaflow, can't remove it as I threw the stock away. The stereo is also coming out but most of that will go into the jeep. Paper work is all done just going to remove my stereo and away the truck goes.
