I voted in Florida ,,, My vote did not count at all as with everyone else's in Florida. Several other states were also not done voting and there votes meant nothing either. This also includes the electoral vote .... So does it really matter that you voted ... Fuck NO !

Florida has had issues with votes the last three elections if my memory recalls correctly. That withstanding to not take an active role in the Democratic process weakens the power of our sovereignty. The basic premise that we uphold as a nation is a government of the people by the people for the people. The ballots contain multiple offices up for election. Even if you didn't care for presidential candidates your vote could impact the representation in the House or Senate. Or the local sheriff, judge etc.

Lets say Obama won by 2.7 million votes. That's 55k votes per state. Or if we consider the number of incorporated towns and cities in the U.S A estimated to be over 30k, the math shows. .if the Republican party could have tied if they could have averaged just a mere 90 more voters per city......The Republican party lost because people thought their vote didn't count .... they where out hustled and out worked. .........just 90 people averaged! wow SMH

Basically there are two groups of people in this country: The first believes that the USA was founded on Judeo Christian values that we all should strive to live by. The second believes that values are open to personal interpretation, and that what is right for you may not be right for me, and anything having to do with Christian values does not belong in government.

I wish I had the video you posted a few months back. A few of my buddies and I were chatting up about Democracy as a form of Government. We were discussing the merits of why America seeks to dismantle governments in favor of resurrecting new governments fashioned after the U.S. I pointed out the fact that every documented Democracy has failed and collapsed. So the conversation morphed into a why push a faulty premise. This would have been a good video for those folks to see. Thanks for Sharing!

Is there a compromise to be had on the Gay Marriage and Abortion debate? For example giving women the choice prevents a situation where a child is brought into the world void of parents and dumped into a system of government subsidy. Where tax dollars are spent to feed, clothe, and educate said child void of a solid nuclear family structure.

If I have a union between two people that are in agreement to say form a "Corporation." Seeing that they cannot in most cases procreate, they would become a target market for adoption. Where as the Corporation agrees to take on said asset for the duration of time up until said asset matures to Adulthood.

With the divorce rates where they are with "traditional" marriages and broken homes, could there be a common ground in legislation here??

Because I didnt believe a word that Romney said. I find it funny how people call Obama socialist but then they think its ok to tell women what they can and cannot do with THEIR body.
