What would it take to set a truck up to run on E-85 fuel. From what I under stand it is rated at about 110 octane (I think) and it about .80 cheaper per gallon. I know the motor uses more fuel though.
I can see a truck needing a big fuel system: larger lines, bigger pump, etc. On the motor, LARGE fuel injectors and ?????? what else. I am just trying to get a idea.
Please anybody pipe in on this... Is it safe???? I have heard about many motor builders using this fuel and making huge power. Since my motors out and I am going to bigger injectors and re-tuning anyway this may be an option. I already have the fuel lines and huge pump so maybe I have a head start....:dontknow:
