it definetly moves.

sadly it feels faster then the truck probably because it comes out of the whole like an animal. Will get some track times when I get more miles on her.

Nice ride....but I would have went for the SRT8 Magnum having previously owned an RT Magnum before my truck! Congrats though.....what is that supposed to run stock?

If you believe the auto rags, the GC should be significantly faster than the SRT-10. 0-60 times for the GC are in the 4.5 second range. SRT-10 is like 5.3 for RC and 5.6 for QC on stock units. You give up some horsepower and torque from the V-10, but the GC weight advantage is significant.

Of course, I found the GC utterly impractical. It's external dimensions were nearly identical to my 98 Durango but there was no back seat legroom and pitifully little cargo area for an SUV. Plus no one at Jeep/DCX could tell me how they gave the thing a tow rating of like 3500 lbs even though they had no hitch kit for it because of the center exhaust (since resolved, I believe).

Nice combo. I did the same thing, except I had to go with red.

sadly I am down sizing my driveway the srt-10 is gone and my svt focus is being picked up tomorrow.

why is the srt-10 gone is the jeep that much better ?

The Jeep looks sweet!! Very nice!

Told the wife that I wanted to trade her GC in on a new one. She said no, she loves her jeep... Maybe in a couple of years...

Welcome to the GC SRT8 family!

Stock to stock the GC is much quicker. In the real world, 0 to 60 is "realistically" around 4.9. The fastest magazine test I saw was 4.7. Guys are consistently running 1.8 60 ft. times on stock tires. There have been some 13.1 and 13.2 ETs at sea level. It rules the 1/8th mile but the other SRT vehicles, including our trucks, will begin to catch up the second half of the 1/4 mile.

Mine is my wife's driver. She didn't want to give up her 300C but the GC has grown on her and except for the back seat having less leg room, IMO, it is a much more comfortable ride. Practical? It's more practical than our trucks. The tow hitch, an accessory that mine will never have, fits under the exhaust tips. Put the back seat down and it has a pretty decent sized cargo area.

I enjoy the sleeper factor. The Jeep is totally off of the radar. Few people, especially non-Mopar types, have no idea what this thing is capable of.

I don't know if it is better just different. I needed to free up some space in my driveway, having one car is nice and easy right now.

Concur...when I was at the SRT Experience in Atlanta, the consensus was that the SRT 8 was way faster, and a really sweet ride...trying to talk my wife into getting rid of her "grey button" Prius and get an SRT 8!!!

Any chance you will be adding Mods? I've seen very little comment about mods for this great vehicle. Maybe just NOS and you have an 11 sec daily driver?
